Gain: | 200ft | | The Plan: | A last minute hike to try and kick the year off right. This hike is short notice and I imagine a number of people will not be able to make it as they have already made plans or are still attempting to recuperate from the previous nights adventures.
General Info:
This trail is 4 miles round trip with an elevation gain of 200 feet. We will depart from the trailhead at noon.
Currently we are expecting mostly sunny skies with temperatures in the low forties.
Staging/Trailhead:
Head out towards Red Rocks. Watch for campground signs and just before the Scenic Loop Road turn left onto Moenkopi Road. Drive 0.3 miles to a parking area on the west side of the road, this is the parking/trailhead for day hikers. All parking beyond is for campers only. | | | Click here for our pictures and comments.
