This trail is 4 miles round trip with an elevation gain of 1300 feet.
We will meet at the Red Springs parking lot at 0950 with the goal of setting off from the trailhead no later than 1000.
Trailhead:
Take Charleston out towards Red Rock. Before Red Rock you will turn right onto Calico Basin Road. Drive about a mile down this road and park in the parking lot, if the parking lot is closed park alongside the road.
This hike offers a little of everything, groomed trail, rock scrambling, scenery and no entrance fee.
