This can be a fairly strenuous 4 mile hike as the trail is no longer maintained by the Forest Service. The trail winds its way up a boulder-strewn canyon ending at a seasonal waterfall.
We will meet up at the trailhead parking lot by 0930 with the intent of setting off at 0945.
Currently we are expecting temperatures in the high 50s with mostly sunny skies.
Staging/Trailhead:
From town, drive out to Kyle Canyon turning right onto Echo Road (the first paved road to the right past the Old Town Fire Station). If you miss the turn, you''ll go around a big hairpin bend to the left. Take Echo Road down to Mary Jane Falls Road, a dirt road to the left.
